Carina Finn Koeppicus is a freelance writer, recipe developer, and content strategist.
Carina is a Brooklyn native with a passion for food, vintage recipes, and home economics. She’s also worked as a pastry chef, line cook, and culinary instructor. Currently, she’s an Associate Commerce Editor at Bustle Digital Group, and develops recipes for Mashed, The Takeout, and elsewhere
Her writing has appeared in numerous publications including Condé Nast Traveler, Architectural Digest, and The Kitchn. Recently, she was a guest on WNYC’s All of It with Alison Stewart, where she discussed some of the best cooking content to stream in 2020.
Carina holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Notre Dame, and is the author of three collections of poetry. Her most recent book, The Grey Bird: Thirteen Emoji Poems in Translation, received an &Now Award for Innovative Writing, and was named one of Dazed Digital’s Best Books of 2014.
